Flail mower with combustion engine – what exactly is an ATV mower?

An ATV mower is a machine equipped with its own combustion engine, designed to be attached to various vehicles. Although there is no single, precise definition, it can be said that it is a mower that independently drives the cutting mechanism, not requiring connection to the tractor's PTO shaft. Importantly, it does not have its own drive system – it must always be towed. The engine is responsible only for the operation of the shaft or mowing blades.

Main types of ATV mowers:

• ATV flail mower – equipped with flails (hammer) mounted on the shaft. It's perfect for mowing dense vegetation, weeds, and brush.

• ATV maintenance mower – operates on the basis of rotating blades that cut the grass similarly to a helicopter blade, ensuring an even and aesthetically pleasing lawn.

The ATVF 100 is equipped with a 16 HP, 4-stroke, single-cylinder Lifan OHV gasoline engine with manual start. Thanks to its self-propelled drive, it can be used with various vehicles, such as ATVs or off-road vehicles. A well-balanced shaft with flails guarantees efficient and smooth operation, while rapid shredding of vegetation ensures high mowing efficiency.

Mower operation adjustments:

• Cutting height – can be adjusted to suit the type of terrain and vegetation,

• Side shift – makes it easier to reach along fences, trees, or edges.

The ATVF 100 is a front-mounted flail mower for ATVs, equipped with a mounting plate. Front mounting provides full control over mowing and excellent visibility, and also eliminates the effect of compacting the grass – the flails cut it before the vehicle's wheels pass. Thanks to its two-way shift and the ability to lift it using a winch (mounted on the ATV, not included), the machine is also perfect for hard-to-reach places.
