Knives and hammers

Lawn mower blades are a key element that determines the efficiency of mowing and the quality of the machine's operation. There are different types of blades, depending on the purpose of the mower:

  • Standard knives: Straight, used in typical rotary mowers for cutting grass. Made of hardened steel, they are characterized by good durability and easy sharpening.
  • Mulching knives: They have specially designed edges that shred the cut grass into very small fragments. They are used for mulching, i.e. fertilizing the grass by spreading it on the surface.

Blades for flail mowers, often also called hammers, are specialized elements designed for cutting and shredding dense vegetation and organic waste. Flail mowers, also known as flail mowers, use these blades to efficiently cut through grass, shrubs, branches and other difficult plant materials. Types of knives:

  • Y-type knives are a specific type of knives used mainly in flail mowers. They are characterized by a "Y" shape, which allows them to effectively cut and shred dense vegetation. This type of knives is widely used in agriculture and horticulture for maintaining green areas, clearing fields, roadsides, parks and other areas where intensive mowing is required.
  • Hammer knives, often also called flails, are a specific type of knives used in flail mowers and other agricultural machines for intensive grinding of dense vegetation, bushes, branches and other organic materials. Their design and durability make them ideal for heavy work in difficult conditions.
