What is a lawn mower?

The maintenance mower is an farm mower for mowing large, flat surfaces intended only for mowing grass . The maintenance mower is a tractor mower that needs to be connected to the tractor to work. On our market, we can find mower mowers from various manufacturers with different names, e.g.

and the most common sizes are 1000, 1200, 1500 or 1800 mm. In all mower mowers, the mowing element is flat knives that rotate like a propeller in a helicopter. The cultivating mower must be attached to the tractor (3-point hitch) and the power transmission from the tractor and the drive to the cutting knives is possible after connecting the power transmission shaft (PTO shaft). On the one hand, the shaft is connected to the tractor and, on the other, to the mower's angular gearbox, which drives the V-belts responsible for the rotation of the knives.

Adjustment of the cutting height in the mower is performed by appropriate setting of the support wheels.

Due to the mower's structure and design, pay special attention to foreign bodies that may be found on the mowed surface and which may damage the knives when the mower runs over them. The maintenance mower for the FM / DM / FMN / DM / FMN tractor has a natural protection against damage to the gears and knives in the form of V-belts that drive the cutting knives. In cases where the mower knives meet resistance, e.g. when the mower becomes clogged with mowed grass, the belts will start to slide on the pulley.
