The choice of agricultural machinery that helps maintain green areas is becoming larger. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wastelands, green areas, and what we want to do with the cut grass.

A very interesting proposition for many of our customers has become flail mowers. Some call them mowers for "special tasks", because they will also easily mow tall grass. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed spirally on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed, cutting around its own axis what is above the set height.

Flame mower on a long arm FHM46 commonly called "mulcher" is a model of a heavy mower with a long reach of the working module. This adjustment is done hydraulically. This type of flail mower offers huge possibilities. The AM model will work well on sloping areas, for mowing both wastelands, green areas in parks, for mowing roadsides, and is irreplaceable for mowing ditches and slopes and even the opposite slope. This machine has a huge range of adjustment, which allows it to be adapted to the shape of even difficult terrain. We can work with the machine in several planes. This is definitely a product that will also fulfill its task in municipal companies when taking care of green areas.

The cutting elements in the FMH46 flail mower are "Y" type knives with an additional middle knife - 16 sets (2 x Y and 1 straight knife.

A flail mower not only cuts grass, but also mulches it. What does it involve?

This is a technique for mowing grass/other organic materials and shredding the cut material so that it becomes a natural fertilizer that fertilizes the soil. The advantage of mulching is also preventing soil erosion, slowing down weed growth and, importantly, getting rid of unwanted mowed grass, which is often an additional problem.

We can mulch not only grass, but also crop residues, thanks to which we reduce the amount of crop residues, providing the soil with natural fertilizer and protecting against pests that live, for example, in the stems of above-ground parts of plants.

The FMH46 flail mower (mulcher) has a cutting width of 100 cm. It is equipped with its own hydraulic distributor for control. The maximum range of the arm is 420 cm. The drive from the tractor's power take-off shaft is 540 rpm.
