The choice of agricultural machinery which help maintain green areas is becoming bigger. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wasteland, green areas, and what we want to do with cut grass.

A very interesting proposition for many of our clients are fighting mowers . Some call them mowers for "special tasks", they can easily rub the high grass. As the name suggests flail mowers , these are mowers in which the function of mowing is played by beats placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the right speed, around its axis, cutting what will be above the determined height.

The flail mower not only mows the grass but also mulches it. How does it work?

This is a method of mowing grass / other organic materials and shredding the cut material into a natural fertilizer for the soil. The advantage of mulching is also preventing soil erosion, slowing down the growth of weeds and, importantly, depriving us of unwanted mowed grass, for example, which is often an additional problem.

We can mulch not only grass, but also crop residues, thanks to which we reduce the amount of residues by providing the soil with natural fertilizer and protecting it against pests, e.g. in the stems of the above-ground parts of plants.

Flail mower (mulcher) AGF-180 offers a cutting width of 180 cm, which is the biggest size among the three available widths. The reach of the arm from the center of the tractor is 220 cm. In addition, the mower has the ability to move from side to side and tilt at an angle.

These advantages make this machine suitable for sloping terrain. The drive from the tractor's PTO shaft is 540 rpm.

Additionally, the machine has chains placed on the opposite side of the safety flap, which makes it ready for even the toughest conditions.

When choosing a flail mower , it is very important to choose the right mower for the power and weight of our tractor. AGF-180 flail mower requires a minimum of 100 HP with a large tractor weight.
