Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some call them mowers for "special tasks", because they can also mow tall grass without any problems. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed around its axis, shearing what is above the set height.

Kosiarka bijakowa jest odmianą kosiarki rotacyjnej, w której elementami tnącymi są bijaki rozdrabniające koszone rośliny. Ten system koszenia wykorzystywano w bijakowym ścinaczu zielonek (często zwanym potocznie Orkanem lub rotorem). System w którym bijaki są zaostrzoną masą wirującą na wale tnącym, sprawdza się w koszeniu nieużytków oraz poboczy dróg. Obroty maszyny są niejednokrotnie wyższe niż 3000 obr/min. Systemy napędzania mogą być mechaniczne z wałka odbioru mocy WOM lub hydrauliczne za pomocą silnika hydraulicznego.
